"Lost Promises" is a generative art series that visualizes the lies and promises Sudan’s current leaders have told their people. This project explores kinetic typography, oscillation and interactivity using p5js.
Through this work, I aim to raise awareness about the lies being told by Sudanese military generals and spark conversations about the current devastating situation in Sudan and discuss ways to end the war.
The reason behind choosing this fragmented visual effect is to reflect that the words and promises of these Sudanese military generals are no stronger than sand—brittle, fragile, and scattered with the faintest breeze of scrutiny.
